The son of Sophie Marinova – Lorenzo will not be investigated for migrant trafficking. The investigation against him as the leader of a criminal group involved in migrant trafficking was closed due to lack of evidence. This is reported by “Bulgaria Today”, referring to the press center of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Burgas.
“There was an investigation against Lorenzo, but no evidence was ever collected to convict him of being a channeler. Only Ivan Stanchev was convicted, who claimed that Lorenzo was the leader of the criminal group. Stanchev was sentenced to 11 months probation last year.” This was said by Miroslav Draganov from the District Prosecutor’s Office in the seaside town.
