Levski head coach Nikolay Kostov gave a press conference ahead of the Eternal Derby with CSKA at the weekend of the efbet Liga playoff phase. The coach of the “blues” revealed that Plamen Andreev will stand against the “armies” under the frame of the goal. The specialist did not hide his team’s interest in Dinko Horkash, who had left Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
“My expectations are different from what they were in the previous game. CSKA changed the coach, but we didn’t have a basis for comparison because the team had little playing time. Each game is on its own. The game with Beroe was very important for us not so much for the sake of the three points, just to calm down our players. It was seen how many mistakes we made in the first half. We were subjected to a lot of criticism, and perhaps rightly so. Now we have other goals – Kostov began.
“We have higher hopes after our group is filled. Fabio Lima and Mitkov are back. Petkov and Fabio Lima are our two blades that we couldn’t use in the previous match with CSKA. Then we were toothless in attack. Most likely Plamen Andreev will be at the goal. We will see him. It will be unforgivable for him to have psychological concerns before the match,” the coach believes of Levski.
“We will see about Fabio Lima and what his physical condition is. I want him to play certain minutes. We wanted the goalkeeper of Lokomotiv Plovdiv, we contacted him and his agents. I don’t know how far we have come, I don’t have a result so I can talk. Through the whole championship has the feeling of injustice in many of the matches we have lost. We have not cried, we always try to be more patient. We hope that this will change in our country as well”, concluded Nikolay Kostov.
