The head coach of Pirin Blagoevgrad, Oleksandr Babic, expressed his disappointment after the 1:2 home defeat by Botev Vratsa in the efbet League.
“We talked with the players that we have to take the game to a little more forward positions. The championship continues. We have four more matches to go and in these matches we have to perform at a level. We have to analyze what we did today. Maybe a draw was more suitable in the match against Botev Vratsa, but we have to accept that. We didn’t use our chances. We have to learn the necessary information from this match and correct our mistakes,” commented Babic after the match.
“All the teams we will meet in the future are part of the fight for survival and of course the points are very important. We are disappointed with the defeat, but now we have two weeks to prepare in the best possible way for our next match. We have some problems with injured players and this break comes at the right time,” Pirin’s coach added.
“I have not spoken to our president about new owners. We have a secured budget with which to finish the season, but there are certainly many things to be clarified. However, our goal at the moment is to save ourselves,” finished Oleksandr Babic .
