Ravil Maganov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lukoil, died after falling from a hospital window in Moscow. This was reported by the Russian newspaper “Izvestia”, referring to Telegram channel 112, writes dnes.dir.bg.
The 67-year-old Maganov was treated in a ward on the sixth floor. It is not yet known what caused the fall. According to one of the versions, it may be a suicide.
Law enforcement officers are currently working at the scene of the incident. The causes and circumstances of the incident are under investigation.
Ravil Maganov is from the city of Almetyevsk in the Republic of Tatarstan. He holds the title “Honorary Petrochemist” and government awards. In 1977, he graduated from the Gubkin Institute of Petrochemical and Gas Industry in Moscow. He started his career right after graduation.
Maganov joined Lukoil in 1993 as vice president of oil production. In 2006, he was appointed the company’s first executive vice president. In this position, he continues to deal with tasks related to the exploration and production of hydrocarbons. Member of the Management Board of PJSC Lukoil.
