Former President Donald Trump has accused current US leader Joe Biden of suffering from dementia. this happened after Biden defined the pro-Trump trend in Republican politics as a “threat to democracy”, BGNES reported, citing the “Washington Post”.
In a prime-time speech from Philadelphia late Thursday, Biden said the upcoming midterm elections are a battle for the “soul of America” and that Trump and the Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement are a threat to the rule of law, global authority and civil rights of the country.
“Someone needs to explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA stands for, as strongly as words alone can, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! If he doesn’t want to make America great again, which through words, actions and thoughts doesn’t, he certainly shouldn’t represent the United States of America!” Trump wrote on Truth Social, the platform he launched after he was kicked out of Twitter.
During his speech, Biden accused so-called “MAGA Republicans” of refusing to recognize free and fair elections, talking about violence in response to policies they don’t like and working to thwart the “will of the people.”
