The former health minister with a comment on the current political situation and the health of Bulgarians
“How does this society not get tired of waiting a month for a manicurist or waiting for its turn to change the oil of its 14-year-old diesel car, but get tired of voting twice a year?”. The anesthesiologist and former health minister Dr. Miroslav Nenkov asked this rhetorical question on the air of “Wake Up”. He commented on the current political situation in our country, saying that voters must go to the polls on October 2.
“It is not true that we have no choice. It is important to go and vote, no matter how many times we have to,” the doctor said categorically.
Miroslav Nenkov: The roof is on fire, and we are discussing who insulted or pinched whom
He also criticized the Bulgarian for not taking enough care of his health. “In this part of the world we live in, a car and a manicure are more important than health. In the west there are controls and punishments. And we have a very good preventive program and, if we follow it, we will find any problem in time. Any disease caught at an earlier stage is easier to treat, including the dreaded cancer,” said Dr. Nenkov categorically.
He was adamant that people should not consult the Internet about their health. “The only thing information on the web does is scare you. And the dumbest doctor is a better option than the internet. There, opinions are given by all kinds of people who are not competent”, explained the anesthesiologist.
