A helicopter will fly over Trilistnik, the evacuation of people continues – News

President Rumen Radev promised air support for Trilistnik and the other flooded villages along the Stryama river that were flooded this morning. He visited the affected village, which is under water, flooded fields, houses, streets.

According to him, the most important thing is to find out if there are people in distress, and therefore a helicopter is expected to fly over the area to assess the situation in its entirety.

Together with the Minister of the Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev and the Minister of Agriculture Yavor Gechev, the people were promised help and the urgent convening of the disaster commission to assess the damage.

Already in the morning, dozens of people from Trilistnik were evacuated from their homes. They told Radio Plovdiv that they do not know what is happening to their property and what the damage is, because they do not have access to their houses. According to them, it did not rain for two days and the disaster was brought by the rising water of the river.

Mayor Dimitar Ivanov suggested that there may be broken dams on dams.
