“Gazprom” today supplies to Europe, in transit through Ukraine, natural gas in the volume of 42.4 million cubic meters through the gas measuring station (GIS) “Suja”. This amount has been confirmed by the Ukrainian side, a representative of the Russian energy company told journalists, quoted by TASS.
And yesterday, the volume of pumping blue fuel along this route was 42.4 million cubic meters.
Requests for transfer via the Sokhranovka station are not accepted, the representative of Gazprom specified.
Earlier, TASS, citing data from the website of the operator of the Ukrainian gas transmission network, reported that the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine today could reach about 42.4 million cubic meters.
The only route for the export of gas from Russia to Western and Central Europe is currently through Ukraine, writes TASS. The deliveries of blue fuel on “Nord Stream-1” have been completely stopped.
During the technical maintenance of the last operating pump unit of the gas pipeline, an oil leak was detected. Until the repair of the damage, “Gazprom” is forced to completely stop the transfer of blue fuel through the facility, according to a statement of the Russian energy corporation, quoted by TASS.
Gazprom’s message also states that “according to the information of the Siemens company, the complete removal of the oil leak from the pumping unit can only be carried out in a specialized repair enterprise”.
Nord Stream 1 was shut down for maintenance on August 31 and was scheduled to resume operations in the early hours of September 3.
The deliveries of blue fuel through the other currently operating gas pipelines “Turkish Stream” and “Blue Stream” are intended for Turkey and for countries from Southern and South-Eastern Europe, TASS recalls.
