Today is the deadline for submitting applications to vote abroad for the early parliamentary elections on October 2. This is indicated in the voting schedule of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Electronic applications can be submitted until midnight, Bulgarian time.
In the electronic application, the voter enters in Bulgarian their names on their passport, military card or identity card, TIN, their permanent address in Bulgaria, as well as the place outside the country where they wish to vote, in Cyrillic.
In his application, the voter can indicate an e-mail address or a contact phone number to which he will be notified of the result after the data he has filled in has been verified.
A voting application can be signed by hand (filled in according to the template – Appendix No. 28-NS, published on the CEC website) and submitted personally to the diplomatic or consular representation of our country in the respective country. It can also be sent by letter by post or by courier service to the diplomatic or consular representation in the respective country, and there can be more than one application in one letter, but only one person can be entered in each application.
The applications serve to form electoral divisions when no less than 40 applications are submitted for a specific location and to determine the number of divisions in each location, as well as to draw up voting lists.
