At the moment, they are operating the “Refugee Hunter” Dinko Valev, who was seriously injured yesterday when a crane fell on him and was urgently transported by helicopter to “Pirogov” with multiple injuries.
“I thank all the friends, acquaintances and strangers who wrote to me, their support keeps me going,” the Yambol businessman told Flagman.bg shortly before entering the operating room.
A team led by Prof. Dr. Diyan Enchev will perform the first of a series of severe operations on Dinko Valev.
Yesterday, the “Refugee Hunter”, who has a scrap metal business, was seriously injured in an accident near Devnya. He has broken vertebrae, pelvis, arm and numerous other injuries. Because of his serious condition, none of the doctors at “St. Anna” Medical Center in Varna committed themselves to being able to help Dinko Valev. He was advised to seek help in Sofia.
Dinko paid for a helicopter to transport him to the “Pirogov” UMBALSM, where he was entrusted to the hands of an exceptional professional – Prof. Dr. Diyan Enchev, head of the Fourth Traumatology Clinic at “Pirogov”.
Today is the surgery for Valev’s broken vertebrae. To a large extent, it will be clear after that whether he will be able to get back on his feet, of course after a very long recovery that awaits him in the coming months.
