Beaudeau/Glimt won 2-1 at home to Zurich in the second leg of the Europa League group stage. All the goals in the match fell in the second half and were scored by Ole Christian Selnes (55′ own goal) and Hugo Vetlesen (58′). Donis Avdiyai scored for the Swiss team (81′).

Both teams played a calm first half until the very end. Only five minutes before the break, the guests surprisingly took the lead with a goal by Tosin Ayegin. The goal was initially allowed, but the referee was subsequently signaled to go and review the situation with VAR and canceled it.

The hosts came out in full force and scored two goals ten minutes into the second half, when first Ole Selnes deflected the ball into his own goal from a corner, and just three minutes later Vetlesen doubled the lead with a powerful strike.

The visitors tried to press and missed a few chances before Avdiyai managed to cut back ten minutes from time, but Knutsen’s men still kept the score in their favor until the end of the match.
