Arsenal legend Thierry Henry believes Chelsea manager Graham Potter made a mistake by replacing Raheem Sterling in the Champions League group stage draw against RB Salzburg (1-1).
Potter sent Sterling to the bench despite scoring a goal in the game. According to Henry, the 27-year-old striker looked unhappy after being substituted.
“We all noticed Raheem’s reaction. I don’t know why he changed Sterling. He scored and could have scored another goal.
It will be interesting to see how Graham Potter handles it because Sterling didn’t look happy,” Henry told CBS Sports.
Potter took over the Londoners just a few days ago after Thomas Tuchel was sacked. It was his first game in charge of Chelsea.
