Septemvri head coach Slavko Matic spoke to dsport before the away game against CSKA 1948 in Bistrica.
“I expect it to be a good match, although if you look at the standings, it’s a fight between David and Goliath. I hope for a good result. We played well with Lokomotiv Plovdiv. We had our chances, but we couldn’t convert.
CSKA 1948 built a very good team and are at the top of the standings. I have a lot of respect for Luboslav Penev, who is a legend of Bulgarian football and does his job perfectly at the helm of the Reds, but that won’t stop us from trying to get something out of our visit to Bistrica.
Only Delimedzic is injured and I won’t be able to use him. I don’t mind the few points we have, but of course it would be better if there were more. We have our own philosophy of the game and young players to develop.
I am very happy with the movement of my players on the pitch and the tackles they get into. Every match for them is a plus and I hope that what did not happen with Lokomotiv Plovdiv, we will do with CSKA 1948 of Luboslav Penev.
We play with a very strong team that practices attacking and productive football. This is also evident from the ranking. I hope we get something from the match,” said Matic.
We remind you that Slavko Matic led 1:0 against Luboslav Penev when he was in charge of Arda and defeated Tsarsko Selo led by El Goleador.
