The politician commented on the upcoming elections
“Ursula von der Leyen’s speech yesterday was iconic, courageous and revealing. The most important thing from this speech was that Europe has finally opened its eyes”. This was said by Kristina Petkova, Deputy Chairman of the DSB, on the air of the program “The Day Live” on NOVA NEWS.
According to her, the parties that will be represented in the parliament should look beyond their own selfish party and personal interest and take a step back in the name of the national interest.

“The current caretaker government is debating. And that’s the truth. They are going beyond their powers. The official cabinet has only one task – to organize elections. And not to come out with briefings and give a management program. With its actions, the official office opens a very dangerous door – the spread of fake news,” said Petkova.
“We don’t know what the outcome of the elections will be. For me, in any case, the parliamentary parties should sit down and talk. This is the idea of the parliament. After the elections, we can talk about potential coalition formats. The harsh winter that awaits us is not a reasonable concept. We want to be guided by reason”, concluded Petkova.
