CSKA 1948 will return to victories against the young Septemvri

CSKA 1948 and Septemvri (Sofia) face each other tonight in a match of the 11th round of the efbet League. The match in Bistrica starts at 19:30, and the main referee of the match will be Stanimir Trenchev.

The hosts, CSKA 1948, will want to return to winning ways after losing to Botev (Plovdiv) in the previous match. Ljubo Penev’s boys started the season in a wonderful way, as they were undefeated in the first 7 matches and were one of the best performing teams in the elite.

In their last three matches, however, the form of the “reds” dropped and they suffered 2 losses – against CSKA – Sofia and Botev (Plovdiv). Now the capital team will face the difficult task of breaking the negative streak against the young team of September.27

Perhaps the most important news in the selection of CSKA 1948 is that Lyubo Penev will be able to count on his newest striker Yevgeny Serdyuk. The Ukrainian came from the Black Sea at the beginning of September, but due to problems with the documents he missed the fights with Beroe and Botev.

Ljubo Penev: Serdyuk will play tomorrow, we have arranged the control for the break

Now the new blade of the “reds” is completely ready, and Penev admitted that the striker will necessarily record minutes in today’s meeting.

September has only two successes in the current campaign, which came over Botev (SW) and Beroe by 3:1 each. The graduates of Slavko Matic will do their best to add new points to their asset, which can prove to be very valuable for the team at a later stage of the season.

The team parted ways with one of its most promising young players, Simeon Alexandrov, who moved to CSKA – Sofia. In his place, however, Levski’s teenager Martin Petkov was brought in, as well as striker Radoslav Zhivkov, who arrived on loan from “Army”.

Matic has no serious personnel problems with injured or suspended players and will bet on an optimal line-up in search of a surprise against CSKA 1948.
