About 600 tractors from all over the country are expected to arrive
There will be a protest of grain producers at the entrance to Sofia. The meeting point is on “Botevgradsko shose” blvd. Tomorrow morning we will be at the Metropolitan Municipality, where we will specify the location to which we will move the machines. This was stated to the media by Iliya Prodanov – Chairman of the National Association of Grain Producers.

He clarified that on Tuesday there will be a protest of the trade unions in front of the Council of Ministers, therefore the heavy machines will not enter the center of the capital. “That’s why the protest will be at the entrance to Sofia first,” specified a representative of the Initiative Committee for holding the nationwide agricultural protest.
Tractors will arrive from all over the country. About 600 machines are expected, which will stay on a specially designated area.
“We expect tomorrow that the Prime Minister Acad. Denkov will come out with a possible satisfaction of our demands. If by chance not – we have also announced the date of Wednesday for a protest, where there will be no objective reasons for the tractors to enter Sofia”, emphasized Simeon Karakolev, Nationalist sheep and goat breeding association.
