Unprecedented situation tonight in Hell’s Kitchen. Not one of the participants left, but the boss Viktor Angelov himself. He was furious that both teams failed to complete the order for the restaurant. They had a new menu, which turned out to be overwhelming for the candidates for the BGN 100,000 prize.
At one point, the boss sends head waiter Nasco to apologize to the customers that they won’t be eating today and that they’d better find another place to dine.
He then gathered the two teams together and turned to them.
“Blues, reds, you’ve turned my kitchen into a circle. London, Copenhagen, Valencia, Cordon Bleu, New York, the royal family – my grandmother’s kite. I’m giving you a new menu – you swallow the cane. You pan like I’ve given you to fight Bruce Lee. I have news for you – we don’t launch shuttles, we don’t make yakitori – it’s a huge shock for you, I can’t take it anymore, and I’ve made up my mind your jacket.
He then continued with: “Victor, take off your jacket! Hell’s Kitchen is over for you.”
Angelov started for the exit, muttering only “Palyachovtsi” on the way. Finally he came out of the door from which those expelled from him leave.
Nasko went to the participants and told them that he had known a boss for 20 years and had never seen him so helpless. “Get out!” the waiter called to them, and the teams went back to the dormitory.
