The investigated family Nikola and Ekaterina Tuparevi, summoned for questioning because of a dirty order over their partner, turned out to be the owner of 21 properties at home and abroad, hidden from the authorities. We also have good news – the spectacular real estate affair is already being worked on “where it should be”!
As already written, the famous TV producer Niko Tuparev, whose name is behind popular formats on Nova TV and bTV such as “The Bachelor”, “Big Brother”, “Dancing Stars”, “Get Rich”, etc., and his wife – the owner of the advertising agency “Ogilvy Sofia” Ltd., which not coincidentally serves clients from the ranks of Procter & Gamble, IKEA, VISA, Kaufland, Lufthansa, “Poschenska banka”, LIDL and many others, were questioned by the SDVR and the Sofia City Prosecutor’s Office because the organization of an assassination attempt on a partner of Niko Tuparev, with whom the TV producer has ongoing legal disputes.
With the help of the special services, the investigation led us to shocking facts about the unheard-of number of real properties of the Tuparevi family, which are hiding abroad.
Our research found that the family has 21 undeclared luxury properties in Berlin, Dubai, Saint Tropez, Prague, Sofia, Varna, etc. The media is also good for photos from bar houses, apartments and offices.

Berlin – 3 apartments
Nikola Metodiev Tuparev and Ekaterina Ivanova Tupareva own three apartments in the German capital Berlin.
– The largest is in the diplomatic district at Egerstrasse 1, purchased for €1,530,000 in 2016 with an area of over 320 sq.m.
The market value of the property is currently over 3 million euros. The property has not been declared to the Bulgarian authorities, the sources are categorical.
In fact, this is the property where the shady family has been living for the past 7 years.
The famous Tuparevs own 2 more apartments in the capital of Germany at 165 “Danzinger Strase” – new construction, for which the family paid over 1,000,000 euros in 2014. The schemers keep the homes as an asset and almost never visit them, our sources said.
Saint Tropez, France – 3 apartments
In 2021, Ekaterina Tupareva, circumventing Bulgarian and German tax legislation, purchased through his company Sea Portfolio Ltd. three apartments in the top center of Saint-Tropez – right across from the post office, where the iconic film “The Policeman of Saint-Tropez” starring Louis de Fines was filmed.
The price of real estate is salty – 1,750,000 euros each.
Dubai
Katya Tupareva and Niko Tuparev have three apartments in Dubai worth more than 5 million euros.

People in the know say the family visits their properties in Dubai no more than 2 to 3 weeks a year. The properties have also not been declared to the Bulgarian tax authorities, the source emphasized.
Prague
Katya Tupareva owns a house in Prague for over 1,500,000 euros. Her elderly mother, who had been arranged for a PR, was placed there, with a whole team of governesses, cooks and a driver taking care of her. Tupareva rarely spoke to her infirm mother, the informant did not hide.
Sofia
Niko and Ekaterina Tuparevi hide an emblematic apartment located in the heart of Sofia, opposite the Russian Church. The location is on the 5th floor of Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. 8a.
The apartment has an area of over 230 sq.m. The property was purchased in 2019 for €1,150,000 but is currently worth over €2,500,000.
Tupareva also owns an apartment on Marin Drinov St. in the ideal center of Sofia, next to “Oborishte” street.
The shadowy family also has an apartment on “Baba Nedelya” square next to the National Palace of Culture with a terrace above the establishment there.
Separate TV connection owns a shop at Slavyanska Street 6, which is used for a gallery.
Katya Tupareva has an office building for over €3,000,000 at 60-62 Dospat St. next to the National Palace of Culture, where her company Ogilvy Sofia Ltd. is located, as well as an office building on the corner of Kaliakra Street and Rozova Dolina Street in the central Sofia district of Lozenets.
Ekaterina Tupareva also turned out to be a large landowner – in Karlovo, her company “Rozov Proekt” Ltd. owns over 233 decares of land, on which he plans to produce rose oil and build a spa complex.
The same top PR woman also owns a house in Bankya at 27 “Momina Salza” St. with a 3-acre yard and a private farm.
To top off this whole property bacchanalia, Niko Katya Tuparevi has 3 apartments in Varna in the luxury complex “Sunny Den” next to the resort “St. Konstantin and Elena”, where their neighbor is… Slavi Trifonov.
A source, who wished to remain anonymous, specified that The NRA and KPCONPI have self-reported because the properties have not been declared and have started checks on the origin of the funds and the manner of their acquisition.
Based on the data indicated above and the huge differences between the declared income and the funds spent by the Tuparev family, it is clear that that the declared profits of the companies of Niko Tuparev and Katya Tupareva are drastically different from what is known to their counterparties (Nova TV and bTV for the companies of Niko Tuparev and Procter & Gamble, IKEA, VISA, Kaufland, Lufthansa, “Poschenska banka” and LIDL for Katya Tupareva’s companies), which will be the subject of our next investigation, which the editors are already working on.
