Rozita Elenova and Teodor Mihailov are trying to enter the National Assembly through the PP and DB lists, respectively
Rozita Elenova (“We continue the change”) and Teodor Mihailov (“Democratic Bulgaria”) appeared in a conscientious television appearance on Bulgaria on Air. The two candidate MPs, who are also brother and sister, explained why, according to them, there is nothing unnatural in the situation.
“It is quite normal that we are from different parties. The two parties are positioned in the center and right, so the messages are rather similar. I have never committed myself to a party and I have never been a member of a party. At this time in my life, I find it appropriate that my level of competence be implemented in legislation. Being committed to “Continuing the change”, I think that the old models should be retired”, Elenova pointed out.
According to her, the action of the government of “Continuing the change” was rudely interrupted. She is adamant that a stable management formula must be found.
Her brother also takes it for granted that they are from different parties.
“A person is born in a free country and has a free choice. I am the founder of “Yes, Bulgaria”. Why my sister chose another political force, I have no responsibility for this decision of hers. We generally look in one direction and have no differences. We proposed a few months ago to appear in a coalition with “We continue the change”. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen,” he said.
