What does Batmobile do with Ukrainian numbers at the Monaco Grand Prix?

--

For some fans, Formula 1 may be limited to the race of cars on the track, but many others are fans of cars in general. And those in Monaco were especially lucky this year.

The German edition of the magazine Auto Motor und Sport has a wonderful tradition – to photograph the shiny vehicles with which the VIPs arrive at the competitions, mainly those in Europe.

In addition to all the Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches and all sorts of other supercars, this year fans could admire a real Batmobile. With Ukrainian numbers!

Of course, many did not believe when they saw him, but this is a completely original Batmobile, used in the 1989 film “Batman” with Michael Keaton, Kim Basinger and Jack Nicholson.

But why with Ukrainian registration?

It turns out that the reason is absolutely prosaic. The numbers appear on the cult vehicle a few years ago, when it was taken to the garage for repairs carried out by the Ukrainian service Nanoprotec.

The Batmobile is based on the Chevrolet Caprice, “equipped” with a V12 engine from the BMW M73 with 322 horsepower.

The luxury vehicle has been “living” in Monaco since 2021, and its owner even showed how to drive it on the streets.

The Batmobile was a real hit at the Monaco Grand Prix, and even Prince Albert was photographed with it. He was also shown all the beauties that the car has, including the cult weapons that every child dreamed of having his future car.
