If you ask most people what the first thing they would do after winning the lottery, they’d probably say they’d quit their job and book a trip to the Maldives.

A millionaire made fun of a young girl who did not want to work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

However, this is not what the Canadian Pierre Richet did. Despite winning a whopping $50 million Lotto Max jackpot, he still got up at 4:30 a.m. and went to work again.

The Quebec-based man works as a driver and logistics manager for a catering company. He shared that he did not want to leave his colleagues. “I can’t leave them alone. Without me, the delivery department is impossible,” he stated.

Pierre, who is 60, admitted that his pay is not great, which makes it even more admirable that he decided to stay. He also said he has no plans to retire just yet – but will give himself a few weeks to make a proper decision about what to do with his millions.
