Since the beginning of the offensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, that is, in five months, Ukrainian fighters have killed more than 93 thousand people from the personnel of the Russian occupation forces. This was announced by the military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko.
According to the expert, the Russians lost a total of:
tanks – more than 1400;
armored fighting vehicles – over 2350;
barrel artillery – more than 3750;
MLRS – 271;
air defense systems – 230;
motor vehicles – over 3,380;
special equipment – 561.
“I will allow myself to summarize it briefly. If it were not for this intensification of hostilities, most of this mass of forces and means would become the basis for accumulation and subsequent deployment. Think about it.
And yes, the most important thing for everyone to know is that the chicks are counted in the fall. In this particular case, until December 2023,” noted Kovalenko.
According to UNIAN, Russia’s total losses in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion are estimated to be around 304,100 people, of which 830 have been killed in the last 24 hours.
In addition, Russia lost on the battlefield: 5276 tanks, 9939 armored fighting vehicles, 7363 artillery systems, 861 salvo missile systems, 568 air defense systems.
The fighters of the volunteer international brigade “Pyatnashka” used the experience of the First World War in the area of the Northern Military District. Military correspondent Semyon Pegov spoke about this in the WarGonzo telegram channel.
A clever trick
The Russian military, following the best practices of the First World War, dug a tunnel under the fortified area of Ukrainian troops near Avdiyivka and planted explosives.
Pegov’s interlocutor, the commander of “Pyatnashka” Ahra Avidzba, known as Abkhaz, said that there are enough guys in the brigade who know what a shovel and a pick are. We had to dig 160 meters.
“The explosion was so powerful that the enemy fortification was blown to pieces,” the war correspondent said.
In order not to “offend the enemy,” they decided to take him into account, Abkhaz said sarcastically, adding that they “launched the first cosmonaut of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
Within a week, the Russian aviation destroyed 10 Ukrainian planes, as well as a Mi-8 helicopter, Western media write. 28 servicemen from the Ukrainian armed forces surrendered voluntarily. They refused to follow the orders of the command and decided to lay down their arms.
