The floods in Russia are gaining strength. The level of the Ishim River near the city of the same name reached a record level of 1,051 cm. The previous maximum level was 850 m, recorded in May 2017.

According to the publication 72.ru, the evacuation of the residents of the village of Abatsko is being prepared, traffic on the highway Ishim — Maslyanskiy — Sladkovo is also restricted. Evacuation of people is also taking place in Kurgan, Tomsk and Kemerovo regions.

Without electricity

Due to flooding, 10 settlements are without electricity. Earlier, the authorities announced the evacuation of residents of Kazan and Ishim regions.
