Runaway horses galloping through the streets of London have caused traffic chaos. At least four people were injured in their accidental encounter with the animals in the very heart of the British capital, reports the BBC. The army was called in to capture the animals.

The first reports of the escaped animals appeared on social networks. Users posted photos and videos of a black and white horse, possibly covered in blood, galloping through central London.

A little later, the police announced that they had managed to capture the animals with the help of the army. According to British media, there are other horses on the loose – possibly escaped from the stables of the British cavalry – a regiment that was at the same time rehearsing for an upcoming military parade in the capital.

Law enforcement says both horses will be taken to a veterinarian.
