The premiere of the book “The Knight of Good”, dedicated to the personality and work of the unforgettable actor Apostol Karamitev, is on April 25 at the Cultural Center “Sea Casino” – Burgas.
The audience will have the opportunity to meet the authors Olga Markova and Momchil Karamitev – the son of the legendary artist. They will tell interesting moments related to the creative process and the personality of the actor, who left a bright mark in Bulgarian theater and film art.
The book gives us the opportunity to lift the curtain and enjoy the performance of the life of one of the last great knights of goodness.

Olga Markova is the author of significant studio studies on the seventh art and its relationship with literature, the essence of the screen adaptation process, the role and contribution of the most famous Bulgarian writers in Bulgarian cinema, as well as a number of creative portraits, monographs, reviews, interviews. She has published a number of books, some of which have been republished – “From literature to the screen”, “One hour with…”, “Cinema – art or auction”, “The screen – an arena of opinions and destinies”, “The role of Bulgarian culture in world civilization” (in English).
Momchil Karamitev is the son of actors Apostol Karamitev and Margarita Duparinova. Graduated in cinema and television direction in Rome under Prof. Angelo D’Alessandro, Massimo Mida, Alberto Marama and Piero Spila. Before that, he graduated in acting at NATFIZ “Krastyo Sarafov” in the class of Prof. Nadezhda Seykova and Associate Professor Elena Baeva in 1986. In the 1990s, he specialized in film directing and film dramaturgy in New York, then moved to Los Angeles, where he worked on international and American films. In the West he is known as Max Freeman.
