Deputy Mayor Tanya Kolchakova-Yaneva joined the Walk of Books…

--

Today, the Children’s Department hosted another initiative from the Walk of Books. Our guest was the Deputy Mayor of the Pazardzhik Municipality with the portfolio “Education, Culture, Youth Activities and Sports”, Mrs. Tanya Kolchakova-Yaneva. She read to the second-graders from “Lyuben Karavelov” Primary School the fairy tale by Diana Petrova – “Little Questions”.

The graduates of Mrs. T. Grozdanova and Mrs. Z. Bogdanova listened with interest to the wise tale and actively participated in the discussion about it.

They themselves asked very unusual and interesting questions to Mrs. Kolchakova – Yaneva, related to sports, school subjects, even her favorite dishes. Our guest also addressed her small questions to the children, which are their favorite books, what they do in their free time and told them about their upcoming children’s events, which the Municipality of Pazardzhik organizes for all children.

The emotional meeting ended with a casual greeting of the children to Mrs. Kolchakova – Yaneva with their favorite song about Pippi Longstocking and everyone joined in a fun dance.

We thank Mrs. Tanya Kolchakova – Yaneva for visiting us as part of the National Reading Promotion Campaign!

We hope to have more joint initiatives in the future!
