Actor Ivaylo Zahariev shared his personal story and his relationship with his first wife after their separation, unexpected by many. He tells how love is born in his heart, how he realized that it ends and how he recognizes his future partner.
“I entered Protestantism because I had a search, a longing to find out who I am. Not necessarily in Protestantism, but in Christianity I found these answers… My first wife Mirjana and I met when we were helping drug addicts. It was a mutual aid group in which we helped each other, since drugs leave a person without friends,” shared Ivaylo Zahariev.
He does not think that carnal abstinence before marriage is an obstacle to the good development of relationships later.
“Yes, our first kiss was at the altar, but that was part of our choice. I don’t think that was a hindrance. As for the mistakes – I can’t answer where they were either. There was estrangement, I tried to do something, but it seems that I did not meet such a willingness on the other side,” explained the actor.
At the time, their children were 5 and 6 years old. The two decide to separate for a while, but subsequently it becomes clear that it will not be for a short time.
“It was the most difficult moment of my life. I needed time to suffer the pain. Then I filmed a series in which my character was going through something similar. It seems that work helped me during this period. My friends also helped me,” admitted Ivaylo Zahariev.
When he meets Stanislava Slavcheva, it is difficult for him to admit that he is in love.
“A friend opened my eyes. He told me I was acting like I was in love. I had closed myself off, but I got over it. Then living together with Stani was a difficult process, but we took risks and I think we win every day” – said the actor in “The Life of a Real Case”.
