For Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday! The legendary girl group Spice Girls came together to celebrate and sing along. The designer and famous football wife formerly known as Posh Spice was joined by Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie ‘Mel C’ Chisholm, Melanie ‘Mel B’ Brown for epic performances of her biggest hits.
Videos and photos of the party appeared on social networks. Including a David Beckham-directed clip of the girls singing Stop in front of lucky guests. More precisely, they drive it on karoeke.
The star-studded, invite-only party was held at London’s Oswald Club. The video was also shared on the profile of Victoria Beckham, who wrote “The best evening! Happy Birthday to me! I love you so much!”. She captioned it with the hashtag SpiceUpYourLife, proving she still hasn’t forgotten her days as a performer, despite stubbornly refusing to go on tour with the band.
In the video in question, David Beckham initially shows his excited expression as he stands in front of Halliwell, 51, Bunton, 48, Mel C, 50, his wife Victoria and Mel B, 48. The five ladies dance on the makeshift stage and sing Stop, standing exactly as they were positioned in the original video from the 1990s. The song can be heard from the powerful speakers, but the voices of the spies can hardly be drowned out.
When it came time for the chorus, the performers raised their hands and did a stop sign, recreating their iconic dance from the video.
At one point, David also started singing the song, then turned the camera around and showed how he was enjoying the performance. Dguest stars including Eva Longoria and Marc Anthony also appeared briefly in the video, dancing in the background.

The Spice Girls’ impromptu performance comes as the group celebrated 30 years since they formed last month. Victoria made a statement during her birthday wearing a sheer mint green dress, but still used crutches to get around. The designer suffered a leg injury during a fitness workout earlier in the year, walking with help back in Paris during Fashion Week in February.
Of course, the guests at Victoria’s anniversary were not limited to the Spice Girls. The birthday girl arrived in the company of her entire family, including husband David, 12-year-old Harper, 25-year-old Brooklyn, 21-year-old Romeo and 19-year-old Cruz. The other members let Victoria shine, dressing elegantly but a little more minimalistic. They all opted for the black and white range, while the birthday girl shone in green.
Other guests included Marc Anthony and his wife Nadia Ferreira, Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and her husband Jose Baston, Jason Statham and his fiancee Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Long-time friend of the Beckhams and famous foodie, Gordon Ramsay, was also on the guest list, this time just nibbling on the menu. The top chef also brought his wife Tama, giving the pair some personal time after the birth of their sixth child.
Salma Hayek and her husband Francois-Henri Pinault were also among the star guests. The actress posted several photos from the party where she posed with Tom Cruise and Marc Anthony. She also poses in a warm embrace with the birthday girl, as well as a slightly more blurry shot with Mel B and Marc Anthony. Hayek also posted a photo of Victoria with her daughter Harper.
“It was an honor to be a part of Victoria Beckham’s very fun birthday party with her close friends and family. Although my feet hurt from dancing, it was a special, unforgettable and fun night,” Salma wrote under the series of festive photos.
The only person missing from the party was Nicola Peltz Brooklyn, Brooklyn Beckham’s wife. Instead of attending the party, the model decided to spend quality time with her grandmother. In her Instagram stories, Nicola added a photo of the Beckhams, writing that she would like to be with them in London.
“I’m so sad I can’t be there to honor you and hug you. Sending love from me and Grandma,” she wrote to Victoria, adding heart emojis.
