The scandalous revelation
“In 2000 – and this really happened to me – it was considered normal to ask an actor to kiss other actors to test the chemistry,” she said. According to the actress, she didn’t like it, but she didn’t mind because she didn’t want to be perceived as “difficult”.
“They told me, ‘You’ve been cast for one role and you have to kiss ten guys.’ Aren’t you excited?” And I thought, “Is there something wrong with me because I wasn’t excited. I thought that sounded harsh.
No one has ever tried to be mean or hurt me. It was just such a moment and now we know better how to act in such situations”.
