Deputy Mayor for Digitalization, European Policies, Business Development and Education Vladimir Temelkov opened the “Days of Professions” exhibition, organized by the Center for Personal Development Support – Municipal Children’s Complex. It takes place in the period April 19-20 and is intended for seventh-graders and their parents interested in the possibilities of obtaining professional education in Plovdiv.
“Pick one or two things that you really enjoy and get really good at them. Don’t wait, start now,” he appealed and wished success to the exhibition, the opening of which was attended by hundreds of students.
The director of the Center, Ozden Muradova, also welcomed. “Now you will make your first significant choice, because you have to decide in which direction you want to start developing. Now is the time to find your school and embark on the path of your professional development,” said Muradova.
In order to provide early career guidance to students, representatives of the Thrace Economic Zone are included in the exhibition as an expression of partnership between business and education. During the two-day event, the majors from the admission plan for the academic year 2024/2025 will be presented through school presentations, demonstrations of professions and informational materials. This year, it includes 23 educational institutions and 7 business representatives.
The head of the “Education” department, Donka Shtilyanova, representatives of RUO – Plovdiv, school principals also took part in the official opening.
