The Municipal Administration will purchase four new machines for cleaning Kardzhali

The Municipality of Kardzhali will purchase four new machines for the needs of the municipal enterprise “Landscaping, improvement and cleanliness”.

The new equipment includes: a multifunctional cleaning machine with a sweeping device with suction and a garbage hopper, a cleaning sweeper, an excavator-loader for cleaning unregulated landfills and a new cargo vehicle – a truck.

According to an announced public order, we have already selected a contractor and a contract for the purchase of garbage cleaning and garbage collection equipment is about to be concluded. The total value of the order is BGN 980,000, announced the mayor of the municipality, Erol Myumyun, at a briefing.

He explained that the garbage cleaning and garbage collection equipment is necessary for the municipality to collect and transport wood and green waste from parks, alleys, sidewalks and public places.

“We believe that with the new technique we will improve the quality of the garbage collection and garbage cleaning services we offer. We will also be able to deal more easily and in time with the so-called unregulated landfills, which are a problem for many municipalities in the country,” Mümyun pointed out.

The mayor once again called for more responsibility on the part of the residents of the municipality.

“I call on the residents of the municipality to dispose of household waste in the regulated places when carrying out repair work in the homes, old household appliances and the like. Because otherwise, we enter a spiral – we clean, but landfills are formed again and again in various places,” emphasized the mayor of the municipality of Kardzhali Erol Myumyun.
