The Vienna Economic Forum – Sofia Meeting 2024 will take place in the “Boyana” residence. World leaders, business experts and entrepreneurs gather in Sofia to discuss the most current challenges and opportunities facing the regional and global economy. This was announced by the government press center.
The event is organized regularly in the spring in each member state, with the aim of promoting regional economic cooperation, as part of the European and global positioning of active economic entities. The forum highlights the success and the huge role of economic cooperation between entrepreneurs from the member countries of the Vienna Economic Forum – Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, the Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Slovenia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The regular edition of the Vienna Economic Forum every year in November in Vienna is one of the major events in the Austrian capital with an attractive force for the regional, European and world economy. During the 20 years of its successful development, the Vienna Economic Forum fulfills its mission with clearly defined goals to support investment opportunities and implement joint projects in the region from the Adriatic to the Black Sea, the government press center states.
In recognition of this, it has been awarded: International Non-Governmental Organization Statute, Special Consultative Statute to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, its entry in the Transparent Register of the European Council and the European Commission, the right to fly its flag on the head office building in Vienna and on its first opened regional office in Sofia.
BTA recalls that there was Bulgarian participation in the twentieth edition of the Vienna Economic Forum in November of this year. in Vienna. Politicians, economists and diplomats of the highest rank attended the event then. The purpose of the event is development of the regional economy and consolidation of the region through dialogue and specific economic projects between East and West, Central and South-Eastern Europe.
