The municipal council in Silistra announces a competition for the manager of “Sineva” EOOD

The municipal council in Silistra will have to make a decision at the upcoming meeting on April 25 to announce a competition for the election of the manager of “Sineva” EOOD, a public municipal company with 100% municipal participation in the capital. The competition is open to all Bulgarian citizens, as well as to citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area and Switzerland.

Requirements for applicants:

• Candidates must have completed higher education, with a professional qualification “Administration and Management”.
• Applicants must have at least 5 years of professional experience in administration and management.
• Applicants must not be under probation, convicted of an intentional crime of a general nature or disqualified from holding office.
• Applicants must not have been a member of the management or control body of a company declared bankrupt in the last two years prior to appointment if there are unsatisfied creditors.
• Candidates must not hold a public position under Art. 6, para. 1, items 1-35 and items 38 and 39 of the Anti-Corruption Act, not to be a member of a political cabinet or secretary of a municipality.
• Applicants must not carry out, on their own behalf or on behalf of others, commercial transactions similar to the company’s activities.
• Applicants must not be partners in general partnerships, limited partnerships and limited liability companies that have the same or similar business as the company.
• Applicants must not be managers or members of executive or control bodies of another public enterprise.
• Applicants must not work in an official or employment relationship.
• Applicants must have a motor vehicle driver’s license, at least category “B”.

Application procedure:

Interested candidates can submit their applications and accompanying documents in person at the office of the Municipal Council in Silistra during working hours (from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) within 10 days from the date of publication of the advertisement. The announcement will be published on the websites of the Municipal Council in Silistra and the Municipality of Silistra.

Selection Process:

The selection process will consist of three stages:

1. Preliminary selection of candidates according to documents.
2. Evaluation of the business program.
3. Interview.

Candidates who pass all three stages will be ranked based on their total score. The highest ranked candidate will be recommended to the Silistra City Council for approval.

Salary:

The monthly remuneration of the elected manager of “Sineva” EOOD will be determined in accordance with the terms and conditions of Art. 34, para. 2 of the Ordinance on the terms and conditions for exercising the property rights of the Municipality of Silistra in commercial companies with municipal participation in the capital, the participation of the municipality in civil companies and non-profit associations.

The deadline for submitting applications and accompanying documents is 10 days from the date of publication of the advertisement.
