Over a hundred competitors took part in the national acrobatic rock and roll tournament in Lovech

Lovech hosted the national acrobatic rock and roll tournament for the 32nd time. The competition is for the Cup of Lovech Municipality and has the greatest tradition in this sport in Bulgaria. The competition took place in the sports hall of the Profiled Language High School “Exarch Joseph the First”. More than a hundred competitors from clubs from Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Lovech participated, the municipal administration reports.
In the composition of “Rocksmile” – Lovech, there were seven debutants, part of the new generation in the club. Rocksmile won two gold medals, one silver and one bronze.
In the individual classes among the largest, Ivayla Tsacheva won the cup, Simona Georgieva took the silver medal. Simona Cerovska made her debut in this class, taking 4th place. Among the younger ones, Rosina Nanovska placed fifth, Desislava Decheva – sixth, and Vyara Zorkova – seventh.
In the children’s individual classes, Raya Dimitrova took 4th place and was one step away from the medals, and Silvia Ivanova took 11th place. Among the youngest, Vyara Simeonova came fifth, and debutants Preslava Boeva ​​and Maria Hubanova took 6th and 7th place.
Other debutants in the “Duo” class – the couple Alexandra Atanasova – Desislava Ljubenova won bronze medals, Gergana Petrova – Tina Nikolova almost missed a medal and took 4th place.
The formation of “Rocksmile” – “Z-Rock”, won the gold medals in its category.
The awards were presented to the winners by the mayor of Lovech, Stracimir Petkov, who opened the tournament, as well as the deputy mayor, Dr. Aldin Nachkov.
BTA reminds that “Rocksmile” sports club is a multiple team champion of Bulgaria. He is a finalist at the European Acrobatic Rock and Roll Club Championship. Many of the club’s athletes have become state champions. As part of the national team, they represented Bulgaria at tournaments for the World Cup and World Championships, according to information about the hunting club on the website of the Municipality.
