Winners of a costume contest made from waste materials

Over 280 children aged from 3 to 14 years participated in the contest for making eco costumes on the theme “Waste – new life through children’s eyes” of RIOSV – Shumen.


All participants showed enviable imagination and creativity, making it as difficult as possible for the judging experts from the “Waste Management and Soil Protection” department, reports the ecoinspection.


Among the winners are children from Targovishte.


With an incentive award in the age group up to 7 years, Bedridin Erkan Bedridin from DG “Red Hat” – Targovishte.


In the first place in the age group 1-4th grade is the sophomore Tsvetalia Georgieva from the Second Secondary School “Professor Nikola Marinov”, and in second place is the older Alexandrina Georgieva from the Fourth Primary School “Ivan Vazov”.


Melek Detelinova Naskova from “St. Ivan Rilski” Secondary School is ranked third in the 5-7th grade age group.


We are delighted with the widespread interest among teenagers to use waste materials to create costumes of their favorite characters that they can use in role-play. The award ceremony will take place on 24.04.2024. from 2 p.m. in the information center of the inspection, where the winners will present their costumes in an eco parade, clarifies the RIOSV – Shumen.
