At the end of last week, after a 10-year break, the “Hristo Botev” Primary School held a traffic safety quiz again.

She gathered in the hall of the State Puppet Theater – Targovishte students, parents and guests who were there to support the teams of sixth graders in the competition.


Four representatives from each of the classes solved a test with 20 questions, answered a blitz quiz and arranged puzzles with road signs.


Competent jury composed of: chief inspector Martin Stoyanov, head of the Traffic Police – Targovishte, Iveta Dimova, senior expert at RUO, and Rumen Kuyumdzhiev, deputy director of the school, evaluated the participants.


In parallel with the contested competition, the good mood of the audience and participants was taken care of by gifted graduates of IOU “Hristo Botev” Mirela Kostova from vocal studio “Rhythm” and Eda Aliyeva from music school “New Voices”.


Before the awards ceremony, attendees watched footage of events related to road safety initiatives held at the school over the past 15 years.


The students from VI grade performed best. They managed the test without a mistake and with a total of 35 points they surpassed the teams of VI b and VI in class, which collected an asset of 31 points and 30 points, respectively.
