A specialized operation of the police in Kardjalisko, detained three drivers for alcohol and drugs

Three drivers, who drove cars after using drugs and alcohol, were detained during a specialized operation on the territory of the district. Around 3:15 p.m. on April 19, near the junction for the village of Vransko, police officers from RU-Krumovgrad checked a BMW passenger car with a 29-year-old driver. A drug test was conducted and tested positive for amphetamine. A medical examination voucher was issued and samples were taken for chemical analysis. On April 20, shortly before 11 p.m., a Volkswagen car driven by a 51-year-old man was stopped for inspection on the road from the village of Benkovski to Zlatograd. The alcohol test with a technical device reported 1.42 per thousand. A blood sample was taken for chemical analysis. 1.57 per thousand was the result of testing with a technical means of a 31-year-old man who was driving a Mercedes and was checked in the village of Mudrets on April 19 at 5:15 p.m. A blood sample was taken for chemical analysis. The three drivers were detained for up to 24 hours at the police stations. Quick productions were formed. Another 444 motor vehicles were checked in an operation on the territory of the district to improve the security environment and traffic safety situation. There were 232 violations of the ZDvP, of which 53 were speeding videos, for which electronic slips will be issued. For other violations, 15 acts and 164 slips were drawn up.

On April 21, around 9:30 p.m. in Momchilgrad, a 51-year-old woman driving a Mercedes car lost control and hit a Volkswagen driven by a 26-year-old woman. The drivers’ alcohol tests came back negative. The accident was handled administratively with an act under the Civil Code.
