A GlasNews reader, who used the services of public transport in Plovdiv, told about his experiences in a report sent to our editorial office.
The Plovdiv resident traveled on Saturday, but was not impressed. He resented the time he had to wait at the stop, as well as the fact that the flight had many passengers. He also shared a shot illustrating the trip, showing multiple people standing.
“You wait 40 minutes – it doesn’t matter if it’s hot or cold, finally a tortured 1st arrives, in which you get on not like a person, but like an animal stuffed into a truck,” he wrote.

“Flights every 40 minutes because there are no passengers in Plovdiv? You wait 40 minutes – no matter if it’s hot or cold, in the end a tortured 1st arrives, in which you board not like a person, but like an animal stuffed into a truck.
And at each subsequent stop, more and more people get on, and the result is what you see in the picture. You crash like an animal, there’s not even a place to catch yourself, you hit yourself and lean on the people next to you. There is simply no other option, because the next car is in the same situation. And so all day off – the photo is from today, Saturday (20.04.2024) in the early hours of the day.
And so it was last week, and the week before that, and I don’t know how long ago. I don’t know who “smart” decided that there are no passengers on the weekend, but this is simply not normal. There are savings, yes, but you’re still driving living people. Waiting for someone to crash and worse to release more cars? This money that you will save from economy, do you spend it calmly, knowing what you are doing to us?”
