--

Students from the 11th grade of the Professional High School for Computer Programming and Innovation (PGKPI) presented their projects, in the field of high technologies, during a career forum in Burgas. It was held for the second year in a row at the initiative of the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” and its branch in the seaside city. The career fair is looking to the future.

The opportunities for students and future students who want to develop in the field of high technologies is one of the goals of this forum in Burgas. The reason is that within three days, meetings are held with business representatives from various sectors. One of these IT companies presented Lyubomir Angelov:

“We have been partners of SU for many years. We attract young people with good pay and jobs that are related to high technology.”

Another company with a tendency to open an office in Burgas also provides an opportunity for internship and development:

“I am Svetozara Yovcheva. Our company has an internship program that started this year and is annual. There is a training part which is 1 month.’

Unsurprisingly, the territorial directorate of the National Revenue Agency was present at its stand with opportunities for career development. Hristo Uzunov shared:

“Students who came to us asked us most often what are the opportunities for internships and work at the NRA. It is also the fastest growing administration, so it is also looking to the future.”

The Vocational High School of Computer Programming and Innovation is also expecting a new addition this year. Nikolay Despotov, a student in the 11th grade, tells about the specialties that attract students:

“Our specialties are three – application programming, robot programming and artificial intelligence programming.”

In about 20 days, students from the Professional High School for Computer Programming and Innovation (PGKPI) have also made a model of a smart house that has solar panels, power sensors – for example, for rain. Thus, open windows and external doors are automatically closed, explained Ivan Tsangalov, also an eleventh-grader.

It is the High School for Computer Programming and Innovation that is the main partner of the forum, which is organized for the second year in a row at the initiative of the Faculty of Economics and the Sofia University branch in Burgas, which also presented its training programs in the new academic year.
