A literary meeting with the writer Boyan Boev, author of the novels “The Saibie’s Bride”, “Last Prayer” and the collection of short stories “Twenty Grosha”, was held in Dobrich. The event was hosted by the Dora Gabe Regional Library.

Boyan Boev shared with the good audience about his first stories and children’s tales, touching stories based on actual cases, about his participation in various literary competitions and his works included in collections, internet sites, a literature textbook for the 6th grade, as well as about his personal blog – www.boyanboev.blogspot.com, where he publishes most of his stories.

The writer comments on the importance of feedback from readers and the desire to reach more people, revealing the fate of the common man, with his woes, rebellions against fate, loves, duty and honor, compassion and philanthropy. Provoked by the work of the great names in Bulgarian classical literature – Yordan Yovkov, Elin Pelin, Georgi Karaslavov, the writer finds family relationships to be the most complex relationships between people and writes about them. Boyan Boev talks about the symbolism in the names of his characters, the presence of nature as a symbol of the various emotions, thoughts and actions of the characters in his works.

The young writer also gave out many autographs to his admirers in Dobrich.
