Hallux valgus

Hallux valgus is a deformity of the big toe that causes pain and the inability to wear shoes due to severe curvature of the toe.

This distortion, which is called hallux valgus, is often seen in young women. The problem occurs when wearing very tight shoes or is inherited.

It should be treated after X-ray examination and angulation. After the measurement, surgery is performed on the soft tissue or the bone, after which the patient moves in special hallux valgus shoes. Wearing regular shoes is possible within 6-8 weeks after surgery.
