The last stage of the project to replace the water pipes in Dobroshka mahala is starting

The last stage of the project “Reconstruction of street water pipes and building deviations in the southwestern part of the city of Razgrad” is starting, the municipal administration announced.
This stage is the largest of five in the project, involving the replacement of 5,473 meters of water pipes, affecting the supply of 370 properties in the area. Financing for the implementation of this stage in the amount of BGN 2,536,394.47 was granted to the Municipality of Razgrad by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRRD) at the end of last year, the Municipality specifies.
The section where excavation work and pipe replacement will be carried out includes the streets south of “Zheravna” and west of “Yumrukchal”, including part of this street. Excavation works start from the streets “Srebarna”, “Alexander Stamboliyski”, “Silivria” and “Colonel Markov”. The deadline for the implementation of construction and repair works is 180 calendar days from the opening of the construction site and determination of the construction line.
The streets that will be worked on will not be closed, but traffic will be restricted, so motorists are urged to use caution when passing through the areas where water mains are being replaced. The municipality of Razgrad is appealing to those living in the areas where repair work will be carried out, with a request to provide assistance by moving their cars from the areas where work is being carried out, according to the municipal administration. From there, they add that after replacing the water pipes, the contractor company has a commitment to restore the asphalt coating of the excavated sections.
The work on replacing the water pipes on “Lyuleburgas” and “Kratovo” streets also continues. These are the last streets of stage two of the waterworks reconstruction project in Dobroshka Mahala, where the waterworks had not been replaced for more than 50 years and water losses exceeded 70 percent. The Municipality of Razgrad apologizes to the citizens for the temporary inconveniences related to the repair.
