A Varna block became “Big Brother” after its residents installed 15 cameras to fight thieves. It is about the 120th block in the Mladost district, Nova TV reports.

“There are systematic raids – broken cellars, broken stairwells, attics and damaged cars. I have lived here for 15 years and there have always been raids. Over the years, my cars have been broken into 12 times, or stolen. You enter the entrance it is constantly broken, the basement is entered. We have installed cameras for a year,” said Dimitar Vasilev on the air.

An elderly lady revealed that the cameras were installed at the expense of the residents. “I hope that some decision will be made by the authorities. You enter with a screwdriver, the doors are closed, we are chipped, but despite everything, nothing stops them,” she said.

“We installed the cameras, and since a year ago, crime has decreased several times. Only in the parking lot there are a lot of robberies, because we haven’t installed them yet. There are also encroachments on the cameras themselves. The cables were cut in the attics and now we have to fix them again. These are funds. The Babaites don’t stop them either,” people also shared.
