The possibilities for upgrading the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo were in the focus of the meeting between the Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti.
Satisfaction was expressed with the active political ties between the two countries and readiness to expand bilateral cooperation, as well as partnership for strengthening security, stability and prosperity in the region, was confirmed. The two heads of government agreed that steps are needed to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, highlighting the potential for upgrading relations in the field of trade and economic relations, information and communication technologies.
During the conversation Prime Minister Glavchev assured the guest that Bulgaria continues to support Kosovo’s European integration and Euro-Atlantic perspectiveas well as the country’s candidacy for membership in the Council of Europe.
