The importance of the construction of corridor 8 for connectivity in the Balkan region was noted by the official deputyMinister on transportand the messages Dimitar Nedyalkov in front of the participants in the Sofia meeting of the Vienna Economic Forum, which takes place in the “Boyana” residence.

Dimitar Nedyalkov pointed out that Corridor 8 is key and provides connectivity opportunities in the region between the Black and Adriatic Seas. Bulgaria is interested in finalizing the construction of transportthe infrastructure along corridor 8, which is between Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Albania, he noted.

Deputy-MinisterHe also said that the completion of Corridor 8 will provide political and economic benefits for industrial processes in the region by improving connectivity within the EU as well as with the Western Balkans. Given the growing importance of security and mobility, the implementation of all components of Corridor 8 is of strategic importance, he pointed out Nedyalkov.

He noted that Bulgaria participates in the improvement of transportthe connectivity with neighboring countries.
