This is a special concert featuring past and present graduates of the School of Arts.
The Children’s String Orchestra, which this season was awarded first prize at the national competition “Path of Glory”, held on March 15 in Sofia, will also perform on stage.
Micho Dimitrov is coming especially for the concert, who will entertain us with his virtuoso performance on the violin with the wonderful piece “Sevdana” by Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin, as well as from the national music academy “Pancho Vladigerov” in Sofia, the young pianist Evgeni Angelov with a performance of the sonata No. 4, Beethoven’s 1st movement, shared Mariana Likova, director of OTCMD.

The former graduate of the School, Gergana Külkhanova, on violin with “Romanian Dances” by Bartok and piano accompaniment by Tavit Machikyan, who was also part of the School of Arts as a teacher, and many more beautiful works by our current students are part of the festive concert, added Likova .
Special guests are invited – former graduates who have reached a high level in their development as musicians and teachers, such as Prof. Anastas Slavchev – pianist, former dean of the Music Academy in Plovdiv; Prof. Dr. Petya Bagovska, teacher of double bass at the national music academy “Pancho Vladigerov” Sofia; Dr. Mariyana Miteva – led an accordion class with us; Prof. Dr. Tanya Burdeva, one of the first violin teachers at our school, Snezhana Polikhronova, Miloslava Slavova and other former teachers, cultural figures from the recent past, said the director of the Municipal Center for Culture and Youth Activities, Mariana Likova.
