Acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti. The possibilities for upgrading the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Kosovo were in the focus of their conversation.

Deepening of cooperation in all spheres

Satisfaction was expressed with the active political relations between the two countries and the readiness to expand bilateral cooperation, as well as the partnership to strengthen security, stability and prosperity in the region, was confirmed, the government press center reported.

The two heads of government agreed that steps are needed to deepen cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, highlighting the potential for upgrading relations in the field of trade and economic relations, information and communication technologies.

Bulgaria supports the European integration of Kosovo

In the course of the conversation, Prime Minister Glavchev assured his guest that Bulgaria continues to support European integration and the Euro-Atlantic perspective of Kosovo, as well as the country’s candidacy for membership in the Council of Europe.
