The Regional Environment and Water Inspectorate in Ruse has issued instructions to plant operators to conduct an inspection of the facilities and processes in their productions where it is possible to release strongly smelling substances in an organized or unorganized manner. This was announced by the PR of the eco-inspection in the Danube city, Reni Petrova.
According to her, by the end of the month, five operators operating in the industrial zones of Ruse must present the results of the survey, a schedule with specific measures and responsible persons in order to prevent, and if impossible, to minimize the spread of odors outside their production sites.
Three of the enterprises have been issued complex permits – “Linamar Light Metals-Ruse” Ltd., “Orgahim Resins” AD and “Lubrika” Ltd. There is an express condition in them for the non-distribution of odors. “Orgachem” AD and “Oleo Protein” EOOD, which do not have complex permits, should also fulfill the same prescriptions.
Petrova points out that for “Linamar Light Metals-Ruse” the deadline has been extended until the end of June this year due to a linear schedule presented by the company that will carry out the survey.
