The new acquisition is a gift for the little ones and their parents from the Regional Directorate “Agriculture” and is already a favorite place to spend free time in the sunny spring hours
Another paradise for the little ones in the Sea Garden of Burgas was opened on the occasion of World Earth Day, April 22. It is located next to the children’s playground under the Kapanite parking lot in Burgas and consists of a gazebo and cheerful wooden tables, which are suitable for a picnic, a holiday or carefree fun games.
The new acquisition is a gift to the children and their parents from the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and is already a favorite place to spend free time in the sunny spring hours.
The director of OD “Agriculture” Lidiya Stankova and her team made sure that this place was cozy and colorful, while at the same time there was space for both small and large children.
“In one of the years, the drawings from the competition, which we organize together with the beekeepers on the occasion of World Earth Day, were the subject of a charity auction, with the aim of using the collected funds to build a specialized educational playground in the Sea Garden of Burgas, which combines the nature-natural design accentuating bright and attractive elements of the life of bees and nature. This year we also put up these “tables – mushrooms”, “chairs – ladybugs and bees” to bring joy to the children of Burgas”, said Lidiya Stankova.
“In order to implement this idea, I would like to express special thanks to the Municipality of Burgas, all competitions were carried out with the exceptional assistance of Veselin Taralova – director of the Education Directorate, and the executive directors of Elkabel AD, who provided us with these drums, which to look like this, they were transformed by my colleagues from OD “Agriculture”. All this is a fact, thanks to my colleagues, to the team I work with. Because the administration is the people, the experts who work in it. And teamwork and joint work are extremely important – they are the basis of the success of any administration”, says Lidiya Stankova categorically.
Over the years, the Burgas Regional Directorate of Agriculture has proven that it is an openly working, understanding, cooperating, helping and socially oriented administration within the framework of the law.
Transparency and accountability in the activities of the directorate is a practice because they are perceived as a way to improve the performance of our activities and tasks.
We perceive external results as a means of reflecting the effectiveness of the directorate’s work, as an assessment by stakeholders and our impact on society.
The directorate is the winner of several awards and honors on a national scale:
• First place in the Competition “Good practice in the activity of the administration in Bulgaria”, organized by IPA. The nomination was in the “Social Responsibility” section for the practice “Regional Expert Commission Livestock Breeding Burgas” in a competition with a total of 24 administrations in the country.
• The highest overall rating and we were ranked first in the rating of learning administrations out of a total of 49 Bulgarian and foreign organizations and 995 employees.
• Award with the distinguishing sign from the Ministry of Education and Culture for significant achievements in the effective implementation of the policy of equality in the Republic of Bulgaria in the category “State institutions” for the “Mentoring System” created by us with the aim of achieving equality for all towards the achievement of more effective policies.
- Regional Directorate “Agriculture” Burgas received the label “Effective CAF user” from the Institute of Public Administration. It is awarded for the successful implementation of the quality management model in the daily work of the directorate.
