The rivals of the players of “Eter VT” in the playoffs to remain in the First League are clear. “Violets” have not yet fallen into theory after “Lokomotiv” (Sofia) lost 0:4 to “Botev” (Plovdiv). In order to reach the playoffs, however, they must win the next five matches, and the capital “railwaymen” must lose all five of their matches. Velikotarnovci are in the Third Group, where the teams finished the first phase in places from 11th to 16th. At this stage, the BFS has released the program only for the first round, in which the Ethers visit “Beroe” in Stara Zagora on April 29 /Monday/ at 20:15. The other two pairs of the round are: “Pirin” – “Botev” /Vr./, on April 26 at 20:00 and “Heber” – “Lokomotiv” /Sf/ on April 28 at 15:15.
After that, around May 11, the graduates of Svetoslav Petrov will host “Lokomotiv” (Sofia), and around May 18, they will visit “Pirin” /Blagoevgrad/. In their last home game in the elite, Veliko Tarnovo players welcome “Botev” (Vratsa) around May 22, and the season ends with a visit to “Heber” /Pazardzhik/ around May 25.
Meanwhile, the capital’s media released the news that Krasimir Balakov will take over “Lokomotiv” /Sofia/ for the remaining five rounds. The goal is for the “railway workers” to keep their place in the elite.
